DESCRIPTION OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPY (KINESITHERAPY) PROGRAM

 

The educational program is implemented in accordance with European education standards jointly with the University of Klaipeda (Republic of Lithuania) in accordance with the Agreement on International Cooperation dated 04.10.2021 under a joint international program with the aim of providing future specialists in physical therapy (kinesitherapy) with the sum of knowledge, skills and abilities to use various forms and means of motor activity for the purpose of restoration, improvement and maintenance of health, prevention of diseases and their recurrence, promotion of psychophysical comfort of a person.

 

SOFTWARE SKILLS FOR FUTURE PROFESSIONALS

Be able to adhere to a defined algorithm of actions during kinesitherapy, taking into account age, pathology, diagnosis, period and course of the disease. Be able to examine the patient, program and conduct physical rehabilitation classes, conduct operational, ongoing and staged monitoring of the patient's/client's condition using appropriate means and methods, evaluate and document the results obtained. To be able to choose the methods of physical therapy, kinesitherapy of patients for the formation of rehabilitation programs.

 

ADVANTAGES OF THE PROGRAM

The applied program with a professional focus on the theory and practice of physical therapy (kinesitherapy) is awarded a double diploma of the European Union countries – Klaipeda University (Lithuania, Klaipeda) and EMU (Ukraine, Dnipro). (A sample is attached.) Forms the ability to carry out practical activities of physical therapy (kinesitherapy) safe for the patient/client and practitioner in traumatology and orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery, cardiology and pulmonology, and other areas of health care. Forms the ability to ensure compliance of physical therapy measures (kinesitherapy) with the functional capabilities and needs of the patient/client. Mode of training: Lecture material – online, Practice - professional institutions of Lithuania, Ukraine, EU countries. Teaching: Ukrainian language and others, according to the terms of the Joint International Program

  • Functional diagnostics in kinesitherapy.
  • Internal diseases and geriatric kinesitherapy.
  • Psychiatry and kinesitherapy.
  • Diseases of the nervous system and kinesitherapy.
  • Methodology of biomedical research.
  • Orthopedics, traumatology and kinesitherapy.

The educational program provides a wide opportunity for further employment after graduation in the specialty of physical therapy both in Ukraine and in the EU countries, in particular: rehabilitation centers, medical and preventive facilities, sanatoriums, preventive clinics, fitness centers, spa centers, wellness industry establishments, educational institutions, sports clubs, sports and health camps, private practice.
