The student has to honor the Constitution and observe the laws of Ukraine; student has to honor Ukrainian traditions. Student is obliged systematically and deeply master knowledge and practical skills in order to become professional in chosen specialty. Student is obliged to observe the orders and requirements of Administration of the University. Student is obliged to observe home rules of the Institute and of the hostel.
Student is obliged to take care and keep student’s documents (student card, credit book) in good state. In cases of loss of student’s documents student will receive official penalty.
Student is obliged to observe requirements of internal Regulations of the University for learning process. Academic year in all higher educational institutions in Ukraine starts on the 1st of September. Duration of the academic year, date of the beginning and the last date of vacations are regulated by the Time –Table of Lessons. Student is obliged to observe rules of University studying discipline. It is obligatory to attend practical lessons and lectures, to fulfill in time all types of studying work and practice according to learning curriculums and programs.
Attending of Lectures and Practical Lessons is obligatory for the student. Missed lessons are to be made up in full. If student missed Practical or Seminar lessons having the valid reason (and this is confirmed by the Medical Document, certified by the Institute Medical Room), in the Dean’s Office he or she is given the Permission for Make-up Lessons free of charge.
If student missed classes having some other reasons – it is necessary to pay for re-works. Student, who has missed Practical or Seminar Lesson and has not given the Permission for re-work to the Tutor, is not allowed to be present at the next Lesson. Student is obliged to pass credits and exams according to the schedule of studying process in the established time. Student has to get all credits PERSONALLY.
If student gets unsatisfactory mark at the exam, he or she has the opportunity to improve this result twice. Student who has received unsatisfactory marks in one exam three times or has passed three subjects with unsatisfactory marks will be automatically expelled from the University.
Student, who has got unsatisfactory mark at State Exam or while defending Diploma Design (Essay), is expelled from the Higher Educational Institution and gets the Academic Transcripts.
Student, who has not passed the State Exam or has not defended Diploma Design (Essay), is allowed to repeated passing State Exams or defending Diploma Design (Essay) during 3-year-period after graduation from the Higher Educational Institution.
It is absolutely forbidden to attend classes, to appear in the Dean-office being in condition of alcohol, narcotic or toxic state. In cases of revealing facts mentioned above, student will receive severe reprimand and warning for direct violation of the Institute internal rules and rules of studying discipline. In the case of repeated reprimand and warning student will be expelled from the Institute. During lectures, practical or seminar lessons it is forbidden to use mobile phone.
Student is obliged to register at the State Migration Service and receive Temporary Card (residence permit). Foreigner who received the permit must register his residence within 30 days from the date of getting the Temporary Card. In case of a change of residence address student has to undergo a re-registration within 30 days and inform the employee of the foreign students and stateless persons department (to submit a copy of registration).
In the case of unpunctual registration student will pay penalty in a sum established by State Migration Service. In case of expulsion from the Institute the employee of foreign students and stateless persons department should give necessary student’s documents to subdivision of Local State Migration. According to abovementioned documents Local State Migration Service employee makes decision for expelled student to leave Ukraine in a fixed term. Student has seven days to cancel registration and to leave Ukraine.
In order to get temporary card students have to:
- pay for study and also for the hostel accommodation if it’s needed;
- pay for medical insurance and preparing temporary card;
- submit passport translation legalized by notary public;
- in case of students’ living in the rented flat, he or she has to give the exact address of further place of living and registration.
For giving the Passport to the State Migration Service it is necessary to give:
- medical insurance;
- student’s application for issuing him temporary card and consent to personal data collection and processing;
- the letter-inquiry;
- letter of guarantee;
- the Passport Copy and its translation legalized by notary public (the first page and the page with Visa stamp);
- copy of the admission order;
- the documents, which certify the abovementioned payments.
Also, student should personally present on the procedure of submission of the documents to the State Migration Service. In case when during semester student needs to travel out of the town, he or she has to get the Permission from the Dean’s Office.
